How to Apply for Nevada Technology Academy

The purpose of the Student Code of Conduct is to set forth the specific authority and responsibility of the University in maintaining social discipline and to specify the educational process for determining individual student and student organization responsibility for alleged violations of University regulations. 

The disciplinary process follows established procedures to promote and provide an educational experience that facilitates the development of the individual student and the student organization.

  • What time are classes held?

    Each class is held one night a week from 6pm-9pm for a 3 credit class and from 6pm-9:50pm for a 4 credit class.

  • Do you have financial aid?

    Our institution does not offer financial aid but we work with organizations like JobConnect, JOIN, VocRehab, and are able to accept VA Educational Benefits. Reach out to these organizations to see if you qualify!

  • When do your semesters start?

    We run three semesters a year. Our Fall semester starts early September, Our Spring semester starts mid January, and our Summer semester starts early to mid May. You can apply anytime at nvtechacademy.com/student-application.

  • Does NTA offer campus tours?

    Yes! Call 775-849-4983 or email kbranson@renotechnology.academy to schedule a tour or stop by the school between 8:30am and 4:30pm to receive a tour.

  • Refund Policy

    We do offer a refund for specific circumstances.

  • Can I transfer credits from other institutions?

    Applicants may transfer units from other institutes.  These units from other institutions will be evaluated on the basis of similarity of course content (as to material, hours, degree of difficulty) and grade earned (no course is transferable if the grade earned is less than “C”). 

    A transcript evaluation will be provided once transcripts have been provided.


  • What are the admission requirements?

    We require a high school diploma or high school equivalency. There is also a math placement test, english proficiency and technology aptitude test once you apply. Please email kbranson@renotechnology.academy if you have questions about these requirements. 


  • Is there an application deadline?

    No, NTA does not have an admissions application deadline.  

    We encourage students to apply as early as possible to ensure they can complete the needed steps to get enrolled. 


  • How do I pay for my classes?

    You can come to the main office to pay for classes with cash, check or credit card or call the main office to pay over the phone. If you have questions about payments please contact kati.andreano@renotechnology.academy


  • What is Populi?

    Populi is the student portal where you are able to register for classes, connect with your instructors, check your grades, and much more.
