Around 2016, Governor Sandavol issued a call to the non-profit Universities in Nevada to engage in Workforce development, with non-degree industry Certifications. The purpose of this initiative was to make skilled employment in Nevada’s growing Technology Industry available to more Nevadans.
Multnomah University, Nevada responded and NTA was etablished.
Because of the Governor’s initiative, NTA was created as a non-sectarian training facility and hence, there are no religious or faith-based requirements to participate in NTA’s IT Program. All certification courses and programs at NTA are fully licensed and approved by the Nevada post secondary commission.
The Governor of Nevada had gathered all Nevada University Presidents and Directors and asked each University to choose a specific industry that will positively impact Nevada’s jobs, industry, and people. As our staff and alumni have had deep connections with companies like CISCO, we are certain we will deliver an excellent Information Technology Certificate program that will benefit the people and companies of Nevada.
